File attachments can be stored in the database or as a linked file. When stored in the database, this
will increase the disk space required for the database. When stored as linked files, only the location
to a drive or network folder are stored. However, if disconnected from the network, some users may not
be able to open attached files. Any type of file can be attached to a case, however, you may need to
adjust your Settings in the system administration to allow/deny file types.
